Infrastructure and Academic Support
Questions about laboratory and classroom facilities, accessibility, and student support services.
The Faculty adopts an integrated strategy to recruit and retain high-quality academic staff in both the Informatics and Information Systems programs. The recruitment process is conducted in an open and selective manner, based on disciplinary competence needs, referring to the academic staff workload and position maps. Permanent lecturer recruitment complies with national regulations set by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, in line with Regulation Number Thirty of Two Thousand Twenty-Two on Lecturer Appointments and Workload Guidelines. At the institutional level, this process is reinforced by UPNVJT Rector’s Regulation Number Twenty-Four of Two Thousand Twenty-Three on Human Resource Management, which governs transparent selection procedures for both permanent and non-permanent lecturers based on academic qualifications.
To retain high-performing lecturers, the faculty provides ongoing career development support, including doctoral study sponsorship, professional certification training, and internal research grants. Performance-based incentives are also awarded for achievements in scientific publications, community service, and contributions to accreditation and certification efforts. A collaborative and transparent work environment that values innovation serves as an added motivation for both early-career and senior academics to remain actively involved. As a result of this strategy, the faculty has improved the academic qualifications of its staff, with over eighty percent holding master’s degrees, and a growing number pursuing doctoral education.
